Kid’s birthday parties can be overwhelming regardless of their age. There is so much planning to do with lots of opportunities to forget something along the way. This can make for a stressful day when it’s supposed to be fun for everyone, and that includes the parents!

There are many great kid’s birthday ideas in Rancho Cucamonga. With our 3 children we’ve done many of them but we certainly have our favorites.

We’ve been to a number of kid’s birthday parties that were outside, which is great in California (weather permitting). The reality is that the weather doesn’t always cooperate, actually, it rarely cooperates. We’ve been to pool parties where there was overcast and high winds, which are frequent in the Inland Empire. It becomes difficult to keep everyone warm enough while chasing blowing party napkins!

Giant indoor play structuresOther times it’s even too hot to have a pool party, not for the kids but rather, for the parents who likely aren’t jumping in the pool to cool down. Everyone needs to be comfortable to have a successful birthday party. This ensures that your son or daughter’s friends will stick around and have a good time.

If you’re a busy parent (who isn’t?) you might consider a structured indoor birthday party. One of our favorite ideas is Jumping Jacks Indoor Playground. It’s called a playground because they have numerous activities for your children (and adventurous parents) from foosball and other free games to giant inflatables.

The inflatables or bounce houses and play structures are definitely the centerpiece ergo the name Jumping Jacks. One neat part of this playground is that there are multiple rooms, all with different bounce structures and games. It keeps it exciting and did we mention COOL. Yes, it gets hot in Southern California. When it’s too hot Jumping Jacks is perfect. All rooms are fully air conditioned and they even have great music playing.

Back to the birthday party; they handle everything for you and I mean everything! We went to one of our daughter’s friend’s parties there about a week ago. The staff organizes everything for your party from managing the kids from room to room to setting up the final eating and gift area. This is where the kids get to eat lunch then have their favorite part, the birthday cake.

Air conditioned when it gets HOT!It was nice to see the staff cutting the cake and distributing pieces to the kids. We probably don’t think about this but how many birthday parties have you been to or had where you were too busy to grab the video or digital camera? It’s always a struggle, so two free hands is really great to have.

Jumping Jacks has birthday packages where you bring your own food or they can completely supply it for you. They even have cake options from Coldstone. They can handle party sizes up to 50. The party we went to last week was about 20 kids.

Here’s what else we love. We have been to Jumping Jacks a number of times but it hasn’t always been for a birthday party. Typically when it gets really hot over the Summer, we’ll go there during their open hours. This is a time you can pay to have your kids join in the open-play. It helps them get their energy out but also gives us a relaxing break. It’s far better than keeping them cooped up in the house.

For your next birthday party in Rancho Cucamonga, give Jumping Jacks a try. We’ve been here many times over the years and the experience has always been great.

Finding a tutor in Rancho Cucamonga is not an easy task. First, one needs to understand and identify the need for a tutor. Second, make sure you have found not only the right tutoring agency but also the best individual for your son or daughter.

CBS News recently reported on early intervention programs, one specifically in San Bernardino where special ed classes have been cut in half. This was due to the early intervention, which placed children in tutoring before or after school.

The reality is today that many kids need some extra one on one assistance.

There are solutions to this problem that create tremendous opportunity for your kids to keep up or even get ahead with their schoolwork. Some parents have chosen to home school, which obviously is very interactive and shows a tremendous amount of involvement on the parents part. In this situation a home schooled student could still need extra attention in a particular subject that might not be the educating parent’s favorite.

Other parents who work or don’t have the time to help their kids get ahead can bring in an in-home tutor, which logically seems to be the best way to go. The environment is comfortable and safe. It also eliminates that valuable drive time that most parents simply don’t have between all of the kid’s activities.

There are many large agencies offering kid’s tutoring from Sylvan Learning Centers, Kumon, Math Monkey to Tutorwhiz in Rancho Cucamonga.

Obviously a one-on-one approach is the most effective. Yes we need to define “one-on-one” as one tutor tutoring one student. If you aren’t specific with these questions you’ll be surprised at how easily your hard earned money will go toward something that isn’t truly what you had expected.

Comfort zone logoCheck that the tutors have the necessary credentials, which could mean they are teachers, college graduates or honors students with at least 2 years of tutoring experience. Also, are they using the school curriculum and will they contact your child’s teacher if necessary? These are all great questions to ask.

Do you want your son or daughter tutored in your home? Intuitively, this is a good choice. It’s time saving for the parents while allowing a safe learning environment for your kids. This likely will help with parent involvement too, time permitting. We all work long days but it’s important to know how our kids are progressing in school.

Is tutoring affordable? This is relative, but one question you should ask is, can you afford to not have your child keep up or get ahead?

Pasadena seo marketing, search engine optimization, business advertising…the how and why?

LINK Pasadena, CA:

Search engine marketing has certainly changed over the years. I began my first website in 1997, only a year after Amazon came online. Websites were so archaic then but to make matters worse, connections were so slow that it made the experience of surfing a less than positive one.

Even still, our desire to gather information from other people’s hard drives drove us forward to improve the internet. If you have an hour or so to kill, check out a site called the waybackmachine. They keep ongoing copies of sites as they evolve. Taking a look at Google or Yahoo search engines when they were in their infancy is quite comical but it also gives you a very good idea of how quickly they have evolved…or have they?

As much as we’d like to think that the algorithms for Google and Yahoo (these 2 make up 75% of search so we forget the others), are perfectly brilliant, they just aren’t. How many times have you searched for something very specific and received every result but the one you needed, causing you to endlessly try other search phrases.

Even worse, how many times have you received results that have absolutely nothing to do with your search? Somehow they magically appeared on page one (the only page that really matters). Let’s go further. How many times do you think you have the right listing then you click on it only to find a maze of links? These sites try to hog the search engines somehow thinking that you’re going to give up and buy something from them just because you’re there. OR they get their money by signing up businesses then bundling them in their core site. The end result is the user has to dig deep to find what they really wanted when it should have only been one click away.

For me, if it’s not one click away, I’m not doing it neither are your potential customers.

So what do you do? There are thousands of companies offering this funny thing called search engine optimization or seo. They will promise you the world and charge you a fortune for it. Most will promise listings in the top 20 for your search terms.

Do you really know how your customers will search for you? You probably don’t and if you did what will 3 specific words or phrases bring you? What if your customers use different words, will they still find you? What if they’re not customers but rather, they’re looking for complimentary businesses, do they find you then? Do you go to a shopping mall with the intent of buying one item or do you look around to see what interests you?

The bottom line is that getting found on search engines is not terribly complicated and it doesn’t take long either. A 48 hour turnaround to get listed in the top 10 (that’s page one) is pretty typical. We have some really ridiculous listings where we have 6-7 of the top 10 listings, the record is 7, which was for an attorney service. On average 1-2 in the top 10 is standard, listings 11-20 are not relevant as far as we’re concerned.

Although it doesn’t take long to get listed, it does take time to craft the listing so it shows. It’s an art in itself because the goal is not only to get listed in the top 10 but also to get the searcher to click on the listing THEN, actually read the content and contact the advertising company. So, the job is hardly complete when a top 10 listing is achieved.

One must understand the business of the advertising entity. This understanding will lead to well crafted and relevant content that the reader actually will enjoy reading. How’s that for a change? The searcher will actually only be one click away from finding what they really wanted, what a concept!

We’ve done this for a while, in fact, Google did a case study on our contextual advertising efforts in 2004 prior to their IPO. They were so happy with us helping them in this case study that they sent a very nice, large Google beach towel! WOW!

If you’d like to read more on this case study or you have questions on getting your business found i.e. seo, search engine optimization send us an email.

We don’t publish our ideas and will only disclose fully what we can do for a business in person or by telephone.
